Closing a business ends your plan, signs everyone out and stops the registers. Export anything you want to keep first.
How to close

Only the owner can close a business. You can also do it from your account at pos-app.sonorch.ai/account.
Confirm the business
Type the business name.
Confirm it is you
Enter your Owner PIN in the app, or your password or Google sign-in on the web.
Clear open tickets
Open tickets stop a business closing today, so settle them first.
When it takes effect

What happens when it closes
- Everyone is signed out and the registers stop.
- Passwords and Google sign-in are removed, so the account cannot be signed in to again.
- Billing is cancelled. The current period is not refunded.
Your records are kept, not erased, and a closed business can be reopened by contacting us. To have your data deleted, see delete customer and business data.
Cancelling a receptionist-only subscription
If you subscribe to the AI receptionist through the Sonorch dashboard rather than through Sonorch POS, cancel under Settings → Billing & plan → Close my account. The receptionist keeps answering until the end of the period you have paid for, you can Undo until then, and we email you a confirmation.
