Data Deletion
How to delete your data.
Sonorch, operated by Lumoras LLC, lets a business run its counter on the Sonorch POS, connect its own social accounts (such as Facebook and Instagram) to publish posts, and check guests in with the Sonorch Kiosk app. This page explains how to remove the data behind each.
What we store from a connected account
When you connect a social account to Sonorch, we store only what is needed to publish on your behalf: an access credential for the account or page you chose, the account or page identifier and name, and a record of the posts you published through Sonorch (their status and a link to each). We do not store your social contacts, messages, or friend lists.
Option 1 — Disconnect it yourself (instant)
Sign in to Sonorch, open Marketing, and select Disconnect next to the connected account. Disconnecting immediately deletes the stored access credential and account details for that platform. You can also remove Sonorch from within Facebook (Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations), which revokes our access on Facebook's side.
Option 2 — Ask us to delete it
Email contact@sonorch.ai from the address on your account (or use the contact form) and ask us to delete the data for a connected account or for your whole workspace. Tell us which account or platform you mean. We will confirm by email once the deletion is complete, typically within 30 days.
What deletion removes
Deleting a connection removes the stored access credential, the connected account or page identifier and name, and the associated publishing records held by Sonorch. Posts already published to your social account remain on that platform under your control — delete those from the platform itself where it allows deletion.
Businesses using the Sonorch POS
Delete your account and close the business. An owner can open Settings → Plan & billing in the Sonorch register and select Close this business. That is how you delete your account. A business on a paid plan keeps working until the end of the month you have already paid for, closes automatically on that date, and is not charged again; the screen shows the date, and until then you can choose to keep the business. A business on a free trial, or whose last payment did not go through, closes at once. When the business closes, everyone is signed out, every register and tablet stops working, and the passwords on the account are destroyed, along with any Google sign-in linked to it.
What closing keeps, and why. Your sales, payment, and tax records are kept, because we are required to hold them and they are what your accountant needs. The rest of your business is kept too — your catalog, staff, clients, and appointments — so that we can reopen it exactly as you left it if you come back. We will never tell you that closing erases your records, because it does not.
Delete client records, check-ins, or anything the law does not require us to keep. Email contact@sonorch.ai from the address on your account and tell us what to delete. We will confirm by email once it is done, typically within 30 days.
Remove a single register or tablet. Open Settings and select Remove next to it under Devices. It is disconnected at once and forgets its key the next time it is used.
Guests who checked in on a Sonorch Kiosk
When you check in on a salon's Sonorch Kiosk, the salon's records keep your name, the phone number you entered, the size of your party, and the time you arrived. Nothing about you is stored on the tablet itself. The salon's client list, which the kiosk uses to find your appointment, belongs to the salon.
To have that information deleted, ask the salon. You can also email contact@sonorch.ai (or use the contact form) with the salon's name and the phone number you used. We will pass your request to the salon, delete what it asks us to delete, and confirm by email, typically within 30 days.
Salons that use the Sonorch Kiosk
Remove a tablet. In the Sonorch register, open Settings and select Remove next to the tablet under Devices. The tablet is disconnected at once, and it forgets its key the next time it is used.
Delete check-ins or client records. Email contact@sonorch.ai from the address on your account and tell us what to delete. We will confirm by email once it is done, typically within 30 days.
Closing the business closes the kiosk with it — see Businesses using the Sonorch POS above.
